Narraitive

1 January 1970

Built by an operator.

A note from the founder.

I have spent most of my career on the operating side of companies — leading revenue at Matterport through its public listing, an enterprise P&L at Notarize, a real estate marketplace at Xome, merchant operations at Groupon. In every one of them the reporting told me what people wanted me to know. The record told me what was actually happening. The gap between the two was usually the answer.

Narraitive is the tool I wish I had carried into every one of those rooms: an AI that reads the record, forms the company as it actually works, and hands one evidence-backed change to the person who can approve it. It never decides. People do.

I lead every Reading myself. The AI keeps the operating rhythm running after I leave the room.

How I work

  1. 01Every engagement is bounded and priced before work begins. There is no hourly billing.
  2. 02I read what you permit and nothing else. Nothing is written back into your systems.
  3. 03Unknown stays unknown. I will tell you what I cannot see.
  4. 04No person is scored. Owners are named because accountability needs names.
  5. 05A change is finished when someone other than the doer shows the result.
  6. 06If the Reading finds nothing worth installing, I say so and we stop.
